This week is National School Choice Week. NC permits the formation of charter schools, which are publicly funded but are not managed by the local school board. Among other things, proponents of charter schools say they increase opportunity/encourage innovation while opponents say they contribute to segregation/take funding away from traditional public schools. Do you support or oppose the formation of charter schools?
