Public Safety Committee
The Public Safety Committee will review policy updates and make policy recommendations that ensure:
- Advise on public safety policy direction in areas of police, fire, and emergency management services.
- Review matters relating to intergovernmental relations related to public safety issues, including cooperation with other law enforcement, fire, and emergency management agencies.
- Provide guidance on disaster preparedness and recovery to foster a safe environment that allows residents, visitors, and businesses to thrive.
- Support the development of and updates to the Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) and Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP).

- Members: Vice Mayor S. Antanette Mosley, Council Memeber Sheneika Smith
- Staff liaison: City Manager Debra Campbell
- Meeting schedule: Fourth Thursday of every other month at 11 a.m. Meetings are virtual.
