سستی ہاؤسنگ ڈیولپمنٹ سب کمیٹی (RBSC) پر رکاوٹیں ہٹانے کا الزام ہے کہ وہ سان انتونیو میں زیادہ سستی ہاؤسنگ کی ترقی کو آسان بنانے کے لیے یونیفائیڈ ڈیولپمنٹ کوڈ اور سٹی کے دیگر عمل میں بہتری کی سفارش کرے۔ اہداف مختصر مدت میں 2022 UDC ترمیمی سائیکل کے لیے مجوزہ UDC ترامیم فراہم کرنا ہیں۔ وسط مدتی اہداف UDC ترمیمی عمل کی نگرانی کرنا اور شہر کے دیگر عملوں میں عمل کی تبدیلیوں کی نشاندہی کرنا اور تجویز کرنا ہیں۔ طویل مدتی میں، ذیلی کمیٹی شہر کے دیگر عملوں کے لیے اپ ڈیٹس کے لیے سفارشات پیش کرے گی۔

ذیلی کمیٹی نومبر 2021-جنوری 2022 کے دوران کام پر توجہ مرکوز کرے گی تاکہ سستی رہائش کے لیے ریگولیٹری رکاوٹوں کو دور کرنے کے لیے UDC میں ترامیم کی تجویز پیش کی جائے۔ NHSD نے اس تکنیکی ورکنگ گروپ کو سستی مکانات کی پیداوار اور تحفظ میں حائل رکاوٹوں کو دور کرنے پر قائم کیا جیسا کہ میئر کے ہاؤسنگ پالیسی فریم ورک کی تجویز ہے۔ یہ گروپ اکتوبر 2021 میں ہاؤسنگ کمیشن کی ذیلی کمیٹی بن گیا۔
